>Dear Xavier Sir,
i read your comment on my blog and my eyes are moist. it is true that i did not have a great time in vanavani, but then there were few moments that i cherish and will cherish for aeons to come. had i survived through those two dreadful years when my health was in its most dilapidated state, it was only because of a few people like you who genuinely inspired me.
Even though i am doing mechanical engineering today, my interest for computer programing has not dwindled a bit, thanks only to those classes of yours. I am today a self taught rookie on linux, PHP, Javascript, Python, and MySql, none of which would have been possible had it not been for your basic java and VB lessons.
i feel proud that i was your student, that i helped you organize vanfest '04 after three long years, that i went about collecting sponsors and organizing events, and above all that i learnt the single most important thing in life from you: to stay patient, calm and composed in even the most disastrous situations.
I still regret only one thing, that i could not score the 200 that i wanted to score in comp sci, but then sir, i am sure i answered all the questions right, the evaluator probably did not understand java programing ;).
miss you loads sir. (collegeku vanda udane dhaan school teachers oda aruma teriyarathu)
yours
naughty but still obedient student
kausikram krishnasayee
P.S sorry could not come to the alumini meet as i was held out of station, i would definitely come and meet you after my sem exams get over. i have some thing similar to vvspirit in mind, but this time around it will be more profound than profane ;)
