There was a time in 2007 when i lost complete sense of everything that was happening to me. Depression was at an all time high and i never thought i would ever get out of it. during this time i had a chat with a friend. a dear friend, which would change my life for ever:
am quoting the 10 points she put on the chat, that changed my perspective towards life. i found enlightenment in these texts. as i find a lot of my friends going through a similar phase i though i would share it with you guys:
1) don't care abt ppl who can't care for u
2) stop analysing life. the already complicated life just gets more complicated
3) everybody gets busier, more depressed and lonely by the day. So if they haven't called u/msgd u/buzzed u, it need not NECESSARILY mean that they hate u or are havin problems wid u. It might simply mean that they have something so much more important
4) just bcos u are not top priority in someone's list, it does NOT mean u are NO priority
5) find your happiness WITHIN yourself. happiness may just mean listening to ur favourite song ONCE a day. it's always better not to depend on other ppl for ur smiles
6) trust no one except your parents. then siblings.the rest of the world will surely ditch you someday. your parents will NEVER intentionally hurt u. your siblings will atleast try not to!
7) no matter what, trust in god. everything happens for a reason. it may be good or bad. but it always turns out that u learn
8) make sure you spread some cheer. Everyone's fighting their own battles
9) fight life. tell yourself you have more strength than you can imagine. it turns out that you DO have more strength than u can imagine.
10) Life IS beautiful. make sure you realise it.
