>Unconference- the Unbook

>
The most wonderful of things have to be put down in words they say, and thats exactly what a few of us had in mind. after organizing, co ordinating the organized chaos in a couple of unconference we people became so wise on handling people right from the floor sweepers of tidel park to the CTO's of multi national companies that we decided lets write about it, the dos and do nots of an unconference.

What better way to write a book on unconference, than make the book itself an 'unbook' , a book anyone can help writing! thats exactly what kribs had in mind when he put forward the idea and we all fell for it hook line and sinker. There is a popular misconception that writing a book takes a lot of time, years , people say. But no, a wiki is all you need and your book's writing time gets reduced drastically. Like any online service provider wanting to know whether his idea will become a benchmark of innovation or a dream that will never become true, we beta tested the idea by trying to write a booklet for wikicamp(which is slated to happen tomorrow). And guess what happened we had the booklet in our hand and it is now out to print, time taken? exactly 8 hours. (unbelievable, but true)
So now that we are sure the concept will work and now that we have enough and more time , we invite you people to come join us and help complete the book on a wiki. There have been a lot of people who have shown interest on helping. We have already got editors, designers marketers and of course prospective buyers.
What makes the book unique is the fact that your writing will be put to scrutiny and will be ruthlessly edited by others and at the end the book will have a style which is independent of any of the authors influence thus making it probably the most unbiased book in earth. We are after all a bunch of bloggers and we all believe in democracy :)
so all you people head to www.unconference.info and join the bandwagon
