>Vox The New Baby in Town!!

>

Vox is the new baby in the blogging block. Its simple, easy to move around for people who hate codes and above all its ajax ( i guess). it allows you to add photos, videos, audio etc in single clicks. it has liberally borrowed ideas from all of its seniors on the market. the simplicity of blogger, the templates of wordpress, the friends only posts of Live Journal and above all a very powerful comment handling system, where comments in the form of personal messages invisible to public view is an option.

The templates offered are simple, elegant in its own way, and attractive to the eyes. The system has already been integrated with photobucket, flickr etc to make photouploading very easy. For videos and audio there is a quick tab for popular services such as youtube, amazon, ifilims and the rest. Vox is made for the person who knows nothing about html and css.

For a service that went public only a few days ago, this proves very promising and it is definitely going to give wordpress a run for its money. what team vox has to concentrate right now is to make as many add ons as possible and to make vox complete by giving it its own individual identity. right now vox = Lj + typepad + blogger + wordpress + my space. but this alone will not do, as of now there is no way to alter the template, not even the header. no way to incorporate third party codes in your blog and above all no freedom with your template.

in short, vox will be a boon to the newbie and the non geeky. in the end all comes to three small things, create, organize and connect, as they put it in their site. lets hope that six apart which already owns livejournal, typepad etc has scored this time around.

head there and check out
vox
