>newindpress on Sunday - News Items
I hav alwayz been a great archer fan, archer and Sidney were my companions through out my adolescence. i always enjoyed archer better because of the simple fact that he used a simple vocabulary and more than that he never used to elucidate unwanted stuff (comparing to Sidney who brings in a sex act between everything possible).
But this review has really surprised me ( i am yet to read the buk so i am blogin entirely upon the facts given in the review), I must accept that archer has not had a great time off late, with his jail term et al ...
Surely it seems that the book is written in a pattern similar to that of the 'da Vince code' but what really surprises me is that i believe the book lacks that perfection in character sketches and details which used to be the trump card of Jeffrey.
The 9/11 incident surely as said in the report is the 'deus ex machina' .The FBI agent going around the world behind a girl in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 attack, not only sounds unrealistic but it sounds hilarious. 'dear Mr. Archer, where is the logic ?'
And what the hell, a women not knowing a single word of Japanese or Chinese and roaming around Tokyo and honk kong escaping a professional killer.....
Jeffrey has gone insane, it looks as if he completed half the book in sleep and the remaining half wondering what he wrote in the previous half ....
i only wish his next book is not such a worthless bauble as this one ......

le roi est mort vive le roi
(the king is dead, long live the king)
