>Gmail Labs - in love with it already

>
So did you check out Gmail Labs? If you havent already then its high time that you do so. All of gmails experimental features are now open for testing by the end users.

I am already in love with it, most of the features which are out there seem to be great even snakey the good old snake game that we can play once in a while if we really get bugged looking at gmail. There is even a take a break feature for gmail addicts which would make your inbox invisible , sign you out of the google talk widget and add a test that reads something like "take a break for 15 mins. Go on a walk. go get a life" :P

But the feature that i am madly in love with right now is the superstars that let you add different star icons to your emails. starring, threaded conversations and labeling were one of the primary reasons that made me move from yahoo to gmail. But off late i realized that i have been staring a lot of emails and sorting through the starred emails in itself makes it tough. What if you keep receiving a dozen mails an hour almost all of them important and requiring trackback after a few days time.

Gmail continues to surprise users. The gmail labs feature comes barely a week after gmail underwent a cleanup that made it load faster. There has suddenly been an up spring in the rate at which new features are coming out of gmail. Surely means that google is getting all the more aggressive to obtain market dominance in the email services, something similar to the dominance that its search engine enjoys.

Ok, no time i am off to play old snakey in gmail Tata!!
